Women's Health
Women and NAD+
Nicotinamide adenine dinucleotide (NAD+) is a coenzyme present in all living cells, playing a crucial role in energy metabolism and cellular functions. Research indicates that NAD+ levels decline with age, leading to interest in supplementation to mitigate age-related health issues. While extensive human studies are limited, emerging evidence suggests potential benefits of NAD+ supplementation for women in specific areas:
Menopausal Madness*
Menopause brings significant shifts in metabolism, energy balance, cognitive health,
inflammatory regulation, and mood stability. These changes are, in part, associated with a
decline in cellular NAD+ levels, which can disrupt critical pathways involved in maintaining
health and vitality.
How LathMize™ NAD+ Supports Menopausal Health
Our claims are based on biomarker changes achieving statistical significance (p<0.05) in a randomized, placebo-controlled clinical study of LathMize™ NAD+.
In controlled human studies, LathMize™ NAD+ demonstrated measurable effects on biological systems relevant to menopausal symptoms. Replenishing cellular NAD+ with LathMize™ NAD+ may help mitigate some of the physiological challenges that arise during this transition.
Fertility and Reproductive Diseases
Declining NAD+ levels have been associated with reduced fertility in women, particularly as they age.
Research indicates that NAD+ is critical for oocyte quality and reproductive health, with supplementation potentially mitigating age-related fertility challenges (Bertoldo et al., 2020).
Supplementation with NAD+ might also be used as a therapeutic approach when treating gynecological diseases (Li et al., 2024).
